2011 – Start and Completion of Advanced Diploma

Undertaking an Advanced Diploma in Sports and Event Management at The Australian Business Academy, was the so-called transitioning phase of entering the Business side of sports. Undertaking this course, would helped me gain the fundamentals and basics of working in a sports organisation, whilst undertaking a majority of projects/events that involved accomplishing set targets and goals.

Being able to travel out of state to Canberra for major event projects attracting thousands of people like The Kanga Cup, was defiantly an eye-opening experience. Working in this major sports event, I would learn the importance of planning and teamwork to accomplish daily goals. Being able to complete the course in 1 year was an accomplishment in itself. Once I attained my Advanced Diploma I would decide to study as an Undergraduate student that following year at the University of Western Sydney.
