Demarcus Cousins was a headache for Anthony Davis and the New Orleans Pelicans on Monday night.
The Kings franchise Center finished the game with an impressive statistical line of 35 points, 14 rebounds, 3 assists, 2 blocks and 1 steal. Cousins produced his points on an efficient shooting night of 13-18 FG from the field, and 9-12 FT at the charity stripe.
Leading his team to a late season 102-97 victory on the road, Cousins was instrumental matching his season high in points (35), and leading once again with the absence of point guard Isaiah Thomas.
The Pelicans Center pairing of Jeff Withey and Alexis Ajinca were no match for Cousins, struggling to contain the Kings star. Cousins bounced back well tonight, considering he combined for only 21 points in his previous two games prior to Monday against Dallas and OKC.
